Meet Tunde O

Born in Nigeria as the eldest of four children to immigrant parents, I grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, where my father, a government civil engineer, introduced me to the possibilities of building and design. That early influence led me to pursue architecture at the University of Miami and laid the foundation for my career in construction and business.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve gained extensive experience in South Florida’s construction industry, managing diverse projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors. Along the way, I developed an expansive network of industry leaders and collaborators, helping me navigate the unique demands of the region’s market.

In 2012, while working as an estimator, the sudden closure of my employer presented a defining moment. I decided to turn uncertainty into action by starting my estimating business and charting my own course. It was a challenging yet rewarding journey of entrepreneurship, where I learned invaluable lessons about resilience, leadership, and the power of relationships.

This experience sparked the creation of Signature by Tunde O, a platform designed to bring together a trusted network of businesses committed to collaboration and mutual growth. Our mission is to connect like-minded companies — those we’ve worked with or who come highly recommended — and foster a thriving ecosystem where every business has the opportunity to succeed.

Today, I continue to leverage my background in construction and business development to help others grow while remaining committed to my own journey of continuous learning and building.
